In Holland an undergraduate study takes four years in general. After
completing an undergraduate study, it is possible to begin in the
second year of a postgraduate study, leaving out the first.
First year of an undergraduate study is called 'propedeusejaar'. If
completed you will get a diploma called 'Propedeuse' or 'P'. This can
take over a year but time is limited. When a Propedeuse is obtained in
the first year of an undergraduate study, it is possible to continue
study at a postgraduate study, beginning in year one.
Hoger beroepsonderwijs is called in England an undergraduate study.
