The Tara Irish pub was opened in 1995 on Rokin, close to Dam square. After some expansions, it is now one of the biggest pubs in Amsterdam. The Tara is not your standard theme pub, it is a combination of an original Irish pub and a Dutch bar.

Being close to Dam and the Amsterdam Stock Exchange, you will find a lot of tourists and stock traders inside. The Tara offers great food, live music, sports on TV and two pool tables.
